Job Title: Senior CAD Technician

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join their design team in Dartford. As a Senior CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing 2D and 3D output for major infrastructure and building schemes across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce clear and concise 2D layouts using AutoCAD software.
  • Generate 3D structural models using Revit Structure software.
  • Produce output of building information/scheduling e.g. Reinforcement schedules, pile schedules, BOMs etc.
  • Provide graphical Construction Sequence Information for use in site method statements, task briefings and risk assessments.
  • Work collaboratively in the shared model environment across other teams and disciplines to ensure transparent and up-to-date coordination.
Requirements:
  • High level of fluency in AutoCAD software.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise 2D layouts.
  • Experience working on a range of proprietary construction equipment, including falsework, formwork and shoring systems.
  • Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steelwork structures.
