Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Passenger Assistant. This is a term-time only position, working with children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable journey to and from educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide transportation support to children and young people with SEN, ensuring their safety and well-being during journeys
  • Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with educational settings to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • No formal qualifications are required, but a natural rapport with children and young people is essential
  • Awareness and understanding of special educational needs is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including mornings and afternoons, term-time only
