Cover Supervisor

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team in a local secondary school in Christchurch. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning in the absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged and motivated.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Supervision: Take responsibility for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring that learning objectives are met and students remain engaged.
- Supporting Student Learning: Provide support to students in their learning by delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities as directed by teaching staff.
- Discipline and Behaviour Management: Maintain discipline and manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all students.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative duties such as registering attendance, distributing and collecting materials, and maintaining classroom resources.
- Collaboration with Teaching Staff: Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day and the effective delivery of the curriculum.
