About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our employees and clients in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess health and safety risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential health and safety hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents and near misses.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General or Construction certification.
  • Member of IOSH.
  • Good knowledge of H & S Legislation.
  • Previous experience in a construction health and safety position.
