Job Overview

As a dedicated Store Team Member, you will be the face of Home Bargains, delivering exceptional customer service with enthusiasm. Your role will involve assisting customers with product queries, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, maintaining a well-stocked and organized store environment.
  • Operate cash handling systems, including tills and EPOS.
  • Support colleagues in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining store standards.


Benefits

As a Store Team Member, you will receive a competitive rate of pay, ranging from £9.00 per hour for below 18-year-olds to £11.88 for those 21 and over. You will also receive 5.6 weeks' paid holiday per year, including bank and public holiday allowance, rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service. Additionally, you will have access to a contributable company pension scheme, staff uniform, and 10% store discount.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate a good understanding of customer service, experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment, and experience of manual handling and stock replenishment. You must also be hardworking and reliable, with a polite and professional demeanor.
