Cleaning Operations Manager

Thorn Baker Recruitment Ltd is working in collaboration with an established facilities management company to source a Cleaning Operations Manager for support with a high-end retail contract across the South Coast of the UK.
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced cleaning manager to reduce the number of sites they are managing, while maintaining a high level of service quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the service(s) / contracts under their control achieve budgeted profit levels set by the board directors.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that all operations are carried out in line with board policies and procedures.
- Train all staff and carry out an induction training program before commencement with the company.
- Ensure that a quality service is provided to clients by implementing stringent procedures and employing well-trained, professional, and motivated personnel.
- Conduct regular visits to carry out cleaning inspections and support the team with any issues.
- Responsible for the Health & Safety of all personnel within the Area Manager's span of control, ensuring the company's Health & Safety policy is implemented and adhered to at all times.
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities effectively with effective management skills and coaching.
- Visiting sites on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to build a strong rapport with the client on-site.
- Ensures administrative paperwork for the services/contracts is maintained.
