Salary: £60,000 - £65, % bonus and Benefits.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team at JGA Recruitment. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide strategic guidance and support to stakeholders on various HR topics, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational design.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic HR Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to stakeholders on various HR topics, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational design.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to address HR challenges, offering innovative solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
  3. Employee Engagement & Culture: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that boosts morale and retention.
  4. HR Metrics & Analytics: Utilize HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
  5. Policy Implementation: Support the HR leadership team in implementing policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote a high-performance culture and comply with legal standards.
  6. Industry Awareness: Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, translating them into actionable strategies.
  7. External Partnerships: Develop relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance HR capabilities and stay ahead of emerging trends.
  8. Global Initiatives: Contribute to regional and global HR projects, ensuring their effective local implementation.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner with a strategic focus, particularly in an operational or engineering environment.
  3. Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing HR teams, fostering collaboration, and a high-performance culture.
  4. Union Experience: Experience working in a unionized environment with a track record of managing complex employee relations cases.
  5. Travel: Willingness and ability to travel regularly to our Southampton port.
