Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled First Stage Carpenter to join our team in Poole. As a First Stage Carpenter, you'll be responsible for delivering bespoke carpentry work packages throughout our luxury cabins, modern kitchens, and spacious bathrooms.
You'll work with a wide variety of timber, sheet materials, and high-quality wood finishes, and will have the opportunity to specialize in one specific boatline. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional results, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Hold previous, relevant, bespoke, and varied work experience in a domestic or site carpentry environment, using a variety of materials, adhesives, and tooling.
- Possess a working understanding, and practical application, of surface preparation and decontamination.
- Cut and fit structural and non-structural materials for an accurate fit with an appropriate finish, using the appropriate machinery.
- Plan projects and mark dimensions using non-technical drawings to reduce waste and minimize damage/rework.
- Have strong time management skills to drive success against cost targets.

We offer a range of working patterns to suit your needs, including:
- Day Shift | Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30
We offer competitive pay rates, including:
- Basic hourly rates from £14.00 to £16.05, depending on experience
- Overtime rates of up to £24.07 (x1.5 rate) and £32.10 (x2 rate, Sundays/Bank Holidays) - please note that Overtime is not guaranteed and it is allocated based on business needs at the time
