Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Woking Hospital as a Medicines Management Lead. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care and advice to patients, and leading the development and implementation of medicines management strategies across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement medicines management policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective use of medications
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to healthcare staff on medicines management
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with medicines management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on medicines management

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
