About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Website Manager to lead the development of our corporate website, a key digital asset for Grant Thornton. As a Website Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the website to achieve business objectives and acquisition lead generation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the website to ensure it meets business objectives and acquisition lead generation goals.
- Lead regular reviews of the website and user experience across our digital channels.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of UX for the UK corporate website of Grant Thornton.
- Develop and implement the website development roadmap, working with GTIL and development partners to ensure incremental improvements over time.
- Ensure web accessibility and compliance.
- Manage third-party relationships and toolsets.
- Produce training materials and deliver training on effective use of our web platform and templates.
- Make strategic recommendations and provide advisory services to various teams across Markets and Clients.
- Review and report on progress of target search terms.
- Report and present on website performance to key stakeholders.
Requirements
- University degree or relevant qualification, or substantial experience in managing a corporate website, ideally B2B.
- Extensive experience in an admin role of one or more enterprise-level CMS platforms, ideally Optimizely (EPiServer).
- Experience of working closely with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and managing large-scale website projects.
- Strong analytical background to understand data and implement change.
- Experience in website personalization, user experience, and information architecture.
- Clear communication, presentation skills, and the ability to influence and drive decision-making.
- Experience managing 3rd-party suppliers and contracts and how to get the best out of strategic partnerships.
- Line management experience – the ability to lead and develop others.
Desirable Skills
- Basic HTML, CSS coding, and understanding of java functions.
- Experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimise, Session Cam/Clarity, Siteimprove, Crownpeak DQM.
- Experience of UX visualization and prototyping tools such as FIGMA and Invision.
- Experience with content management platforms.
- Experience with Adobe Creative cloud applications, e.g., Photoshop.
