We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Graduate Finance Analyst to join our clients finance treasury team based in Bracknell. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for finance and strong analytical skills to develop a career in treasury.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and Report on Cash Balances: Ensure accurate and timely monitoring of daily cash positions and report on cash balances to inform business decisions.
- Assist with Cash Flow Forecasting: Collaborate with the team to forecast short- and long-term cash flow requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Process Payments and Transfers: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments and transfers, maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Prepare Treasury Reports: Develop and maintain treasury-related reports, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Conduct Bank Account Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile bank accounts and financial instruments, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Improve Treasury Processes: Identify inefficiencies in current treasury processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline work-flows and improve financial reporting.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure all treasury activities comply with internal policies and external regulations, maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
- Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audits related to treasury functions, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption.
- Recent Graduate: Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities, with a logical and structured approach to analysis.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and present complex data.
- Logical Thinker: Logical thinker with a love for problem-solving.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
