Geo-Environmental Engineer
Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out site investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring, contaminated land risk assessments, and completing Phase 1 Desktop Studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations to identify potential environmental hazards.
- Monitor groundwater and gas levels to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assess contaminated land risks and develop strategies for remediation.
- Complete Phase 1 Desktop Studies to identify potential environmental issues.
- Write clear and concise reports to communicate findings to clients.
- Train junior team members on best practices and procedures.

Requirements:
- Experience in the geotechnical/geo-environmental industry.
- A degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering, environmental science, or earth science.
- A clean and valid UK driving license.
- Residency near Portsmouth.
- A full right to work in the UK.
