Geriatrician Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Geriatrician Consultant to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Frailty Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance reactive frailty services, including UCR, virtual wards, and ED front door.
  • Provide clinical leadership and advice to the MDT, including home visits and liaison with acute hospital, community teams, and primary care.
  • Lead the Front Door Team in the Emergency Department and provide in-reach support to other medical wards for early discharge of patients.
  • Provide leadership for junior colleagues and the MDT on the Mary Seacole Unit.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC registration and CCT in Geriatric and General Internal Medicine.
  • Relevant UK and NHS experience in Geriatric and General Internal Medicine.
  • Ability to supervise postgraduate trainees and teach undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development.
