About the Role

Sheridan Maine is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our external financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors, managing the audit process and resolving any queries that may arise.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and SOX controls, ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting processes.
  • Produce technical papers and reports, providing insights and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate accounting treatments and maintain a high level of financial reporting quality.
  • Assist with ad-hoc project work and analysis, as well as supporting and covering for the Head of Reporting as needed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate experience in a Financial Reporting or Audit Manager role, with a strong understanding of IFRS.
  • Possess excellent technical reporting knowledge and skills.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience of implementing internal controls and SOX, as well as being a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with a number of years of post-qualified experience in industry or practice.
