Our solution provides both purchasers and finance & procurement leaders with crucial insights into the timing, methods, and rationale behind expenditures. In light of the current market's heightened emphasis on capital efficiency, leveraging Entrepreneur First's platform has never been more critical, positioning us as one of the fastest expanding seed-stage B2B enterprises in Europe.

What We Seek

We are in search of an outstanding, hands-on talent acquisition professional to assist in scaling Entrepreneur First. Our objective is to expand our client base from a modest number to over 200 enterprise customers while achieving a tenfold increase in revenue within the next few years.

We anticipate hiring one or two talent acquisition specialists (if we opt for two, one will concentrate on Research & Development while the other will focus on Go-To-Market and General & Administrative roles) to report directly to our CFO.

We firmly believe in the significance of execution and taking initiative, thus this role will heavily emphasize sourcing, outreach, and volume, combined with learning and applying our rigorous standards to effectively evaluate candidates.

Given our extensive outreach efforts, you will excel at establishing initial connections with candidates, articulating our mission and value proposition, and maintaining an organized and professional approach to ensure our talent pipelines progress efficiently.

Who This Role Is Not Suited For

We value transparency and wish to clarify what this role is not as much as what it is. This position may not be appropriate for:

  • Those who depend on inbound screening; we find that proactive sourcing is essential to identify the caliber of candidates we seek, and the successful individual in this role will have a significant amount of activity to undertake.
  • Individuals looking for a hands-off approach; while quality is paramount in our hiring process, we recognize that increased volume enhances our chances of quickly finding the right candidates.
  • Those who wish to focus extensively on strategy, processes, or branding; while these elements are important, they are limited at our current size and stage compared to the impact of execution. We believe that our best branding will emerge from being recognized as a commercially successful organization that attracts top talent, rather than through our marketing efforts.
  • Those whose primary goal is to manage the talent function or to quickly ascend to a managerial role; we advocate for lean teams and flat hierarchies, meaning we do not add management layers unless absolutely necessary. When the current manager reaches capacity for direct reports, we will consider adding a layer below them, but we cannot guarantee that talent will be the area prioritized for this expansion.

*That said, we are strong proponents of promoting internal talent — all our C-Suite executives were once first-time leaders — but we prefer not to make promises about future opportunities that we cannot ensure; we are uncertain about our growth trajectory or the specific leadership roles we will require in the future.
