IT Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a qualified IT teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Sunderland. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering KS 3 and 4 IT and a passion for information technology and education.

The Role
  • Plan and deliver lessons to students according to curriculum standards.
  • Create assessments and oversee the completion of exams.
  • Maintain student progress records.
  • Perform updates to operating systems.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with experience delivering KS 3 and 4 IT.
  • Previous experience supporting SEN pupils.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about information technology (IT) and education.
  • Must have, or be willing to, undergo an enhanced DBS check.
  • Committed to ensuring the safeguarding of young people.
