Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Facilities Management – Commercial Sector

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to perform both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks across various commercial properties.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in Facilities Management and demonstrate a successful history in maintaining commercial infrastructures. This role is particularly suited for an Electrical Mobile Engineer currently engaged in a comparable position. Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
Key Responsibilities
  • Lighting tasks (including minor installations, troubleshooting, and lamp replacement)
  • Conducting emergency lighting inspections
  • Managing control panels
  • Replacing ballasts
  • Monitoring BMS systems (temperature control)
  • Executing all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Updating and maintaining logbooks
  • Plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets
  • Working with pumps and motors
  • Ensuring compliance and maintaining records
  • Utilizing CAFM systems (such as eLogs and Webquote)
  • Completing assigned tasks efficiently and professionally
  • Proactively identifying and addressing faults in building services
  • Reporting health and safety concerns as necessary
  • Maintaining communication with client representatives regarding service levels
  • Reporting service-related issues to site management
  • Demonstrating flexibility in site attendance and task execution
  • Staying informed about relevant health and safety regulations
  • Assisting subcontractors as needed
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Client-facing experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Prior experience in a Building Services Engineer role
  • Ability to work independently with high-quality standards
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering
