Design Engineer Job Description

We are excited to be working with a leading Engineer company to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer at all levels. Our client has experienced significant growth over the past few years and is now looking to expand their design team due to company expansion.

The Role:

In this role, you will work within multi-disciplined Engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts and customisation of existing products for customers worldwide, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to regulations and manufacturing suitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate products and 3rd party supplied equipment, ensuring governance and requirements are met.
  • Hold an engineering degree or relevant apprenticeship, with at least 2 years' experience in an engineering design environment.
  • Have design experience using 3D CAD software to produce 3D part and assembly models and drawings.
  • Previous experience with design software packages such as AutoCad, Pro E, Solidworks, Catia, etc.
