About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Export and Shipping Coordinator to join our Customer Service team at Synergy Flavors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods between locations worldwide, while maintaining compliance with HMRC regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the movement of goods for international and domestic traffic, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare and manage all necessary export paperwork, including product declarations, tariffs, bills of lading, and licence agreements.
- Coordinate with customs authorities to resolve any delays or issues, and maintain accurate records of all customs transactions.
- Identify and implement the most efficient export routes to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including those related to shipping, customs, and trade.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience working with import/export regulations and requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software, with experience of ERP systems an advantage.Minimum 5 GCSEs, with a strong focus on numeracy and literacy.What We Offer
