English Lead Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced English Lead Teacher to join our team at The Education Network Birmingham. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing a small team of English Teachers and developing a curriculum that meets the needs of students who have been excluded from mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small team of English Teachers to deliver engaging lessons to students.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that is accessible and effective for students with diverse needs.
  • Teach English up to GCSE level to classes of no more than 10 students.
  • Monitor and support the performance of other staff in the English Team.
  • Plan and deliver schemes of work that are engaging and can be delivered by all English teachers.
