The Opportunity

The successful Paralegals will work within a busy team, processing Patent and Trade Mark formalities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling design and Trade Mark applications, including filings, completion reminders, processing official communications, publications, fee payments, grants, and certified copies.
  • Managing incoming correspondence, including hard-copy mail and electronic correspondence.
  • Reviewing and identifying due dates from incoming correspondence and diarising dates.
  • Reviewing outgoing correspondence and updating the firm's IP management system.
  • Entering and creating new case records details onto the IP management system.
  • Generating and sending out standard correspondence.
  • Updating the IP management system with filing details.
  • Monitoring the daily critical due date list to ensure that Fee Earners are aware of all due dates.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in IP Paralegal roles and be proficient in handling Patent and Trade Mark formalities. They must be highly motivated, organized, and efficient, with excellent communication skills.
