Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a two-form entry Primary School in Oldham. The successful candidate will support the class teachers with students who require extra attention during class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with behaviour challenges in a Primary School setting
  • Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement behaviour support plans
  • Provide individual and group support to students who require extra attention
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure a consistent approach to behaviour support

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
  • Ability to work with students who require behaviour support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
