About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely special school in Cheltenham. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to teachers in subjects such as maths, literacy, science, and PSHE. Your role will involve setting up activities, printing, and organizing arts and crafts sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers in subjects such as maths, literacy, science, and PSHE
- Set up activities, print, and organize arts and crafts sessions
- Work with students with challenging behavior and implement interventions as needed
- Develop positive relationships with students and staff
- Contribute to the development of a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs

- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full enhanced DBS on the updated service
