Holland and Knight is seeking a highly skilled Practice Assistant to join our team. As a Practice Assistant, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our lawyers and professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to lawyers and professionals, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and colleagues via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, expense reports, and other administrative tasks.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including data entry, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of firm policies, procedures, and software systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience supporting lawyers and professionals with administrative tasks.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Experience with document management systems and electronic signature software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
