About The Role

Eiffage Kier is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Site Agent in the Greatworth area, with extensive Structures experience. As a Senior Site Agent, you will need to assist with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.

This position will require liaising with the Agent, Sub Agent, and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme, and budget. This role will also manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate construction operations to ensure they conform to contract requirements.
  • Manage the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control.
  • Liaise with the Agent, Sub Agent, and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works.
  • Manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of the team.

About You

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
  • Mandatory CSCS Requirement (one of the following) - Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow or Red Experienced.
  • Mandatory SMSTS.
  • You must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
  • Must have extensive experience of working on Structures.
  • Previous experience in people management.
