About the Role

A thriving Small to Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) business is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join their team in a newly created position. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in leading the implementation of Power BI and developing dashboard reporting for 2 legal entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Power BI and design dashboard reporting frameworks to empower the business to monitor its growth trajectory and profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses on the company's rapid growth, assessing campaign success, demographic profiles, and audience behavior patterns.
  • Develop and maintain daily analysis of sales conversions, customer conversion rates, and attrition rates.
  • Collaborate with budget holders to determine their reporting needs and design effective reporting frameworks.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director on the annual budgeting process and departmental head meetings.
Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualified experience.
  • Power BI - ideally implementation and set-up experience, but dashboard reporting will suffice.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of facilitating a business partnering position.
  • Experience of working and analyzing large datasets.
