Paediatric Intensive Care Transport Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant to join our Paediatric Intensive Care Transport Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine and experience in leading clinical audit processes. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in Paediatric Intensive Care Transport
- Lead clinical audit processes to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
- Develop and implement education and training programs for medical and advanced clinical staff
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development of service standards and policies
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- MRCPCH or FRCA or equivalent qualification
- Full GMC Registration
- On Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT by date of interview
- Completion of all competencies in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine (minimum of 2 years) in a unit approved for training by the RCPCH National GRID training programme with evidence that this has been signed off, including a minimum of six months of anaesthetic training OR equivalence
- OR an existing practicing Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine
