We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Air Traffic Engineer position. This role involves reporting to the Senior Air Traffic Engineer and ensuring the effective operation and upkeep of the airport's Air Traffic Services (ATS) Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) systems, adhering to the established protocols outlined in the Air Traffic Engineering Group and Site Manuals.

The Air Traffic Engineering personnel are also trained as Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) technicians. They provide essential support to the AGL Engineer, as needed, in compliance with the relevant Group and Site Manuals concerning Aeronautical Ground Lighting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the required Personal Technical Certificate (PTC) and relevant competencies for role and equipment maintenance, in line with the ATE and Aeronautical Ground Lighting Training and Competence Programmes, including local and national regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance of all ATSEP (Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel) and Aeronautical Ground Lighting tasks with Group and Site Manuals, CAA regulations, and applicable legislation.
  • Accurately document and account for all work performed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures regarding ATSEP and AGL tasks.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of HNC/ONC or equivalent in electronics engineering, with relevant practical experience.
  • Willingness to undergo comprehensive equipment training.
  • Capability to work at heights and maintain necessary physical fitness.
