Actuarial Leadership Opportunity

As a Senior Actuarial Manager at KPMG, you will lead client engagement teams and work on multi-disciplinary projects, providing high-quality advisory services to clients. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and within the company, while winning new business through marketing and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagement teams and work on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Provide high-quality advisory services to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and within KPMG
  • Win new business through marketing and sales activities
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services
  • Share knowledge and experience with the team
  • Market and raise the profile of KPMG

Current Projects:

  • Multiple IFRS 17 impact assessments and implementation projects
  • Provision of actuarial expertise on finance transformation projects
  • Assistance to companies undertaking mergers and acquisitions
  • Helping companies with capital modeling strategy and managing model change
  • Technical assistance with modeling methodology and calibration and validation of components of capital models
  • Developing processes that use actuarial model outputs to understand and control the business

The Person:

Qualifications and Skills:

The successful candidate is expected to have experience working in a life actuarial function or a life consultancy and be a qualified actuary.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Ability to manage concurrent engagements and shape KPMG's tailored solutions
  • Review and design of risk management framework components and governance arrangements
  • Developing productive relationships that bring in business
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Flexibility and enjoyment of working on challenging projects
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Strong coaching skills to develop junior team members
