About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team at Oculus Legal Group. As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Conveyancing teams across multiple offices in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a high-volume of transactions by providing administrative assistance to Fee Earners.
  • Build relationships with other professionals involved in property transactions, including solicitors, lenders, and clients.
  • Prepare correspondence, quotations, and completion statements using our case management system.
  • Administer filing systems, including daily filing, storage, and retrieval of client files.
  • Check Mortgage Lender's Requirements (MLR) and obtain evidence of funds.
  • Raise enquiries with seller's solicitors and respond to enquiries from lender's solicitors.
  • Deal with lender requirements and communicate with clients on searches, mortgage contracts, and title packs.
Requirements
  • High personal standards of work and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a conveyancing department.
  • Desire to progress your career within the conveyancing field.
  • Ability to prioritize work, work to tight deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to speak to people on the phone.
