Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a skilled Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will work with various clients and on multiple iconic projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports
  • Develop and present cost plans, including estimating and tendering
  • Manage the pre-qualification stage and deal with post-contract cost variances
  • Take responsibility for cost checking and valuation on larger projects
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients
  • Contribute to value engineering and negotiate final accounts
  • Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
