Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a permanent Catering Assistant to join our team at University Hospital Crosshouse in Kilmarnock. As a key member of our Catering Production & Services Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to patients, staff, visitors, and for functions.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, service, and wash-up cleaning duties. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an organized and motivated individual with excellent kitchen management skills. Experience in large-scale catering, preferably within the NHS, is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. You should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Working Arrangements:
This is a permanent position with a working pattern of 7 days on/7 days off. The post hours are 11:30-15:45 Monday to Friday, 11:30-15:30 Saturday and Sunday.
