Job Summary:
Matchtech Technology is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in a busy factory environment. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating coil winding machines and performing basic stores duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate coil winding machines efficiently and accurately
- Ensure machines are running smoothly and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and organization in the work area
- Perform quality control checks to ensure high standards of quality
- Be flexible and versatile, able to adapt to different tasks as needed
- Be PC literate and comfortable working with computers
- Hold a Counter Balance Forklift license (preferable)
Working Conditions:
The Machinist will work in a fast-paced production environment, operating coil winding machines and performing basic stores duties. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of $24 per hour (inclusive of shift premium)
- A 12-hour shift pattern on a 3-week rotation (Monday to Friday)
