Mental Health Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at a Private Mental Health Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. Our client provides a diverse range of inpatient services, including acute and psychiatric intensive care, specialist Eating Disorder and private acute and addictions treatment programmes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage patient care, including administering medication and treatments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) qualification
  • 12 months post-qualifying experience in a mental health setting
  • Satisfactory references and right to work in the UK
  • Relevant clinical experience and a positive attitude towards improving quality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
