About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Modelling Engineer to join our team in the Defence sector. As a key member of our systems team, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver system capabilities using model-based systems engineering processes and auto-coding techniques.
  • Model and simulate complex systems using MATLAB and Simulink, including RF environment, Seeker hardware, and processor algorithms.
  • Develop and implement algorithms within the model to achieve required performance.
  • Interact with customers across multiple domains to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Produce and verify auto-code for software algorithms from the model.
  • Manage system studies and performance analysis to ensure system meets requirements.
  • Own processes and model deliverables, and facilitate team development in modelling practices and algorithm design.
  • Assess system performance through models against requirements.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in modelling and coding with MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Experience in verification & validation, configuration control, and model release processes.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data analysis and technical report writing skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing.
  • Algorithm development experience.
  • Team leadership and people management experience.
