About the Role

Cora Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join our team at a weekend residence located near Newbury. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, as well as providing exceptional culinary services to our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the residence is immaculately maintained, including all general housekeeping duties and laundry
  • Prepare and cook delicious meals for the family at weekends
  • Run errands and perform tasks as required
  • Occasionally drive for school runs and other tasks (car provided for work use)
  • Oversee the work of contractors and manage household goods procurement
  • Coordinate and manage shoot parties (approximately 7 weekends per year)

Requirements

  • A fluent English speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A full, clean driving license
  • Knowledgeable on a wide range of areas related to the role
  • Efficient, discrete, and organized
  • Comfortable working in a rural location
  • Child-friendly, as the family has two children aged 13 and 15

Accommodation and Working Hours

A three-bedroom house in the village is provided. The working hours will be Thursday to Monday during term-time, with flexibility required at weekends.


Salary and Benefits

The salary is up to £40,000, with a live-out option available for local candidates with a salary of up to £50,000 dependent on prior experience.
