Our partner, Spectrum IT, collaborates with a dedicated SME that designs and manufactures high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sensors tailored for the UK's water infrastructure.

Mission:
Our goal is to enhance fault detection and quality monitoring through cutting-edge sensors and components, enabling informed decision-making through superior data quality.

Role Responsibilities:
As part of our expanding R&D team, you will:
1. Drive the development of our hardware products, focusing on low-power electronics and high-sensitivity analog systems.
2. Engage in both the creation of new products and the enhancement of existing offerings.
3. Establish robust design and testing methodologies.

Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
- Over 4 years of industry experience in mechanical design.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidEdge).
- Knowledge of cost-engineering principles.
- Experience in design-for-manufacture and ingress protection standards.

Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with assembly and fabrication processes (especially for prototypes).
- Background in electronics.
- Ability to create Bills of Materials (BoM) and manage obsolescence.
- Experience in sensor calibration and test automation.
- Skills in rapid prototyping and project management.
- Competence in technical writing and documentation processes.
- Knowledge of change control and repository management.
