Adult Psychiatrist Consultant

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic consultant to join our Adult Inpatient team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership for the assessment and management of adult inpatients admitted to the ward. We offer a generous relocation package up to £8,000 and recruitment and retention premia up to £15,000 is available (T&Cs apply).

As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to pursue educational and research interests, which will enable you to provide a high-quality of care and safety to our patients. We have excellent links with the medical school at ARU and other educational establishments where we have shared appointments in teaching and research.
Main Duties- Provide clinical leadership for the assessment and management of adult inpatients admitted to the ward.
- Take part in the out of hours on-call rota.
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Registration with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register.
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
- On the Specialist Register with qualifications General Adult.
- Postgraduate degree in psychiatry MRC Psych or equivalent.
