Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coating Operative to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a vital part of our Paint Line Team, you will be responsible for delivering precise and professional powder coating services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the paint line effectively to meet production targets and ensure high-quality coating results.
  • Manage timely and cost-effective paint changeovers to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Load and unload the overhead conveyor to maximize product coating efficiency and ensure smooth production flow.
  • Apply powder paint with precision to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain and clean powder coating equipment according to schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and prevent equipment failure.
  • Adhere to Quality Control standards (BS EN ISO 9001:2000) and Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Cross-train in other production areas and assist during paint line downtime to demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Previous powder coating experience and knowledge of coating processes and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Team player with factory experience and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
