About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Services Shift Engineer to join our Kettering Engineering team. As a Site Services Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all utilities at the Kettering Production Plant, including air compressors, refrigeration, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units, and water treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control utilities, including air compressors, refrigeration, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units, and water treatment plant.
  • Operate and maintain the waste water treatment plant, associated equipment, MBR plant, and water reuse system.
  • Manage and control general Site Services, including utilities, waste water treatment, and other related tasks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Sufficient experience in a similar environment, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Experience working with steam boilers operating at 15 bar, air compressors, boiler water treatment, and water softening plant.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, as well as safe working practices.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar environment, with a strong background in maintenance engineering.
  • Forklift training is preferred, but not essential.
