Job Summary
MWH Treatment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects, working closely with the Commercial Manager and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Management: Manage the commercial aspects of projects, including quantity surveying duties, cost control, and contract administration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, construction, and supply chain teams to ensure business requirements are met.
- Contract Administration: Manage the main contract, including the preparation and issue of subcontract documentation, and the management of subcontractors.
- Financial Management: Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment, and the preparation of project cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Team Management: Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Professional Qualifications: Working towards or have chartered membership of a recognised institution.
- Experience: Experience in utilities/civil engineering/MEICA sectors, and NEC3/4 experience.
- Desirable: Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team.
