Civil/Structural Engineering Technician

We are seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Engineering Technician to join our client's expanding team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a HNC/HND in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 2 years' recent and current experience in infrastructure and/or structural design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective operation of AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Producing high-quality technical drawings and reports
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Accurately interpreting engineers' mark-ups and drawings
  • Liaising with the design team
Requirements:
  • Qualification in a relevant technical subject, including elements of CAD/Drafting (HNC/HND or equivalent)
  • Numerate with a focus on problem-solving
  • Some design ability with an application of engineering principles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Commercial awareness in dealings with clients, proposals, and projects
