About the Role

MSX International Limited is seeking an experienced Automotive Technical Advisor to join our team. As a Vehicle Technical Advisor, you will provide technical guidance and support to various stakeholders, including Ford-approved repairers, independent operators, and Ford Customer Agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical instructions and guidance to enable the diagnosis and repair of Ford vehicles.
  • Accept incoming enquiries from authorized repairers and other customers.
  • Record data into a computer system and provide vehicle and concern details as required.
  • Write and circulate data to other teams and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with dealers, team leaders, and project management on vehicle case histories, trends, and analysis.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of quality and response rate.

About You

We are looking for an experienced automotive technical professional with a passion for cars. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Dealer workshop experience to Senior or Master Technician level.
  • Technical further education at suitable grades, such as City and Guilds or NVQ L3.
  • Customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Confidence in technical concern resolution and logical thought processes.
  • An adaptable and flexible approach to work, with polite and courteous customer service skills.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and be a strong self-starter.

Working Pattern and Location

This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be based primarily at Ford, Dunton, with a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
