We are seeking an experienced RF Systems Design Engineer to join our Engineering Team at Teledyne Microwave UK.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom RF components and systems, from concept through to production transfer. Your expertise will be crucial in driving research into new enabling technologies for our company's roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF components, systems, and multi-function assemblies, including converters, transceivers, frequency measurement systems, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical input and project success.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by providing product expertise and technical input.
  • Lead technical definition and planning of product development projects, ensuring cost objectives and customer requirements are met.
  • Maintain visibility of design approaches and ensure implemented designs meet product requirements.

Requirements:

  • Accomplished RF and Microwave Design Engineer with experience in a broad range of RF design.
  • Understanding of mechanical design through development and product transfer.
  • Experience in designing complex RF microwave components, systems, and sub-systems for Defence, Communications, or Aerospace industries.
  • Experience with 3D EM simulation tools, such as CST and HFSS.
  • Knowledge of good engineering processes and practices.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.

Due to the nature of our business, the successful candidate must be able to gain full UK security clearance up to SC level.
