Maintenance Engineer Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility in Wakefield. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of highly automated industrial equipment, including large capital-intensive machinery, conveyors, presses, and robotics.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of industrial equipment, including routine checks and repairs
• Attend to equipment breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance tasks
• Conduct maintenance on various equipment, including 3-phase machinery and electrical components
• Balance reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement culture and take ownership of individual projects

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Level 3 qualification or above in engineering
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills
