We are seeking a dedicated SEN teaching specialist to join our team at a well-established further education facility in Birmingham. This role will involve supporting students with diverse needs in an apprenticeship setting.

As a SEN tutor, you will be responsible for delivering tailored tutoring sessions to students with SEN, adapting materials and approaches to meet individual needs. You will also develop personalized learning plans in collaboration with students, parents, and other professionals.

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions to students with SEN, utilizing creative and adaptive teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their development.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and fosters self-esteem.
  • Work collaboratively with other educators and support staff to implement effective strategies and interventions.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs.
