About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geoscience Project Engineer to join our team at Venterra Group. As a key member of our Geoscience team, you will play a crucial role in delivering infrastructure, telecoms, and renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to discuss project milestones and deliverables, ensuring seamless communication and support.
  • Participate in client meetings across the UK, Europe, and globally to initiate projects and discuss progress.
  • Examine client-provided drawings and project specifications, including technical stipulations.
  • Develop geophysical survey specifications for client tenders and proposals as part of the risk management process.
  • Analyze project data and generate offshore reports for detailed investigation, utilizing GIS, Oasis Montaj, and additional software tools.
  • Create GIS charts to effectively present and communicate data to clients.
  • Aid in the development of GIS projects for clients, updating and managing relevant spreadsheets.
  • Compose technical reports, including project bridging documents, technical notes, and final project certifications.
  • Conduct research into emerging technologies and equipment relevant to offshore geophysical surveys.
  • Manage project and database-related spreadsheets for tracking and invoicing purposes.
  • Organize database information through filing, updating, and managing internal documents and data.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Geoscience.
  • Highly organized and motivated individual with effective communication skills.
  • Good work ethic and commitment to technical excellence, personal efficiency, and career progression through Continued Professional Development.
  • Full driver's license.
