Job Overview

As a weekend retail supervisor with Sodexo, you will oversee the daily operations of our retail outlet. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with our customers, particularly our Armed Forces personnel, enhancing their shopping experience and contributing positively to their day-to-day lives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed efficiently, while inspiring your team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
  • Maintain effective communication regarding inventory management and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor team performance, coordinate daily activities, and provide assistance to customers as needed.
  • Promote innovative practices within the store by fostering a positive and open-minded environment.
  • Encourage proactive engagement with promotional offers and customer loyalty programs.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the store and associated facilities.
  • Confidently verify the age of customers purchasing restricted items.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example, showcasing enthusiasm and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to take initiative in the absence of the retail manager.
  • Proven track record of contributing to a cohesive team that prioritizes outstanding customer experiences.
  • Familiarity with store opening and closing procedures or experience as a key holder.
