Lead Teacher of Psychology

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Teacher of Psychology to join our high-performing school and contribute to achieving our mission. Our Sixth Form was recently graded as 'Outstanding' in our latest Ofsted inspection.
The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching or leading psychology in Sixth Form and be excited about contributing to the wider life of the school. They will have a proven track record of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment and continually improving the teaching and learning of their subject.
About Our SchoolKing Solomon Academy is a genuine all-through school, with our pupils staying with us from nursery to sixth form across two sites. Our mission is to provide a rigorous and transformational education, which starts with ensuring our pupils develop the vital building blocks for future success.
We have a thriving Sixth Form, mainly made up of academic A levels, alongside one BTEC course in Business Studies. In Autumn 2024, 86% of last year's Year 13 are going to selective universities or degree level apprenticeships.
