Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding of cleaning protocols and associated procedures.
  • Participation in on-the-job training and orientation to achieve full proficiency across various tasks.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations, including involvement in risk assessments for individual tasks.
  • Completion of mandatory NHS Lanarkshire training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with others as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Efficiency in executing assigned tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recognized SVQ or equivalent relevant certification.
  • Experience in a domestic services or cleaning role.
  • Knowledge of systems and protocols such as HAI, Manual Handling, Management of Aggression, Infection Control, COSHH, and Fire Safety.
  • Prior experience with various electrical cleaning equipment.

Contract Details

  • Permanent position.
  • Part-time role.
  • 15.8 hours per week.

Work Schedule

This position is based within the PSSD at NHS Lanarkshire Headquarters, with a working pattern from Monday to Thursday and Friday evenings.
